First Roc Raida RIP. I've been MIA with many things TBA and TBD. Thanks to ALL who came to the BK gig Labor Day 09. Peace to Dave for bringing me. Shout to Richard at waxpo who appeared in full trio. Can't forget JunClassic and Monsta X who held me down. Dan Love at FDB, Peter, Max, Jesse, Zach, Juan, Rachel, the "Chi-town crew", Dan "the life of the party", OC & Finesse... uh...I know I'm forgetting folks. I remember your faces. My boy Flex Mathews even came through. I had a great time kicking it. I hope everyone else had a good time. Played some old stuff & new joints like the "Bright Side Remix" (I had to plug. I consider one of my greatest beats ever. Top 10 haha) To all the cats with cameras who aren't posting the clips on youtube, thank you. I appreciate your respect. I'll continue to unveil unreleased stuff at future gigs. To the people who weren't there, don't worry we have the whole set in mp3 format and in HD video. Who knows when you'll hear it though. Things have been looking good 4th quarter. Jnota and I are excited about many things. Some opportunities have been opening up and some inspiring encounters have taken place. Our brains are semi-tangled, but thoughts are tangible. As always we'll keep you posted. I'm so behind on this blog stuff. Thank God for J right...

I have this Never Off 12" and a video of you saying that people who bought the single and/or album get exclusive content with their proof of purchase, but that content was never made...
I think you should send a copy of that video + mp3 to anyone who sends you a pic of their Y-Society merch.
hey v, i remember that video too. that bonus material was supposed to come from the label, but things fell through.
in any case, since he said that, he has given away much more than originally intended, and he continues to do so on a regular basis. i dont think anyone can question his generosity... but you are right. it was said that exclusive content would be given to those who copped the product. we'll make it'll happen before the year is through. when this is up and running i will post the specifics here.
fyi, we're about to press the travel instros and prep for a late nov release on wax/digi/limited cd (tres/redef). for those who can make it to nyc in late october for the wfmu record fair, you might be able to get em early, in person (provided the test pressings are up to par).
finally, there is another damu record scheduled to come out this year, but more details will be posted as soon as we turn in the masters (due in 2 weeks).

Is there any way I could preorder those instrumentals on wax? I wanna buy it, but if tres is involved I know only like 10 copies will ever get pressed.
Which is why I still don't have a copy of TaYOP (I only buy music on wax).
V, We got u. Tres is only doing the digi release. We are pressing and releasing the wax ourselves. Only doing 500 copies. It will be available at ughh, fat beats, etc. When its available we'll post the specifics here. We'll prob run a pre order thru ughh as soon as we have the test pressings in hand. Either way, I will make sure u get it even if that means I ship it direct to you myself. We're gonna try and get a paypal store up on the redefinition site at launch so stuff like this can be bought direct from us. Thx.
