See wfmu.org/recfair/ for more info

125 W. 18th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues in New York City

Born and raised in Washington DC, Damu The Fudgemunk has been building a loyal fanbase through his soulful, multi-layered beats, which he crafts using little more than an Akai MPC 2000, a huge record collection and a stack of floppy discs.

While he's mostly known and respected by his peers for his work behind the boards as well as his quality multi-media projects, Damu is a skilled DJ who can even hold his own on the mic when inspiration strikes. Damu would likely be found at the WFMU Record Fair regardless of whether he was performing or not.

Come check out Damu LIVE on the MPC and dig for records at what is considered by many to be the greatest record fair on the planet. See wfmu.org/recfair/ for more info.

Dont forget Damu will also be performing on October 22nd in Brooklyn

sorry it took so long to comment on the event, im new to blogs and all. the WFMU show was fucking amazing. i've been a huge fan of damu ever since i saw his beats on youtube a couple years ago. ive been telling people about him since. it was unbelievable to see such creativity and passion in what seems to me to be such a musically uninspired age. as a hip hop lover, and aspiring musician, it was fucking amazing, thanks a lot damu. you've got to be my favorite hip hop producer of all time. among people who know whats up, you'll always be mentioned up there with premier, pete rock, diamond d, j dilla, etc. im excited to hear what's you have coming out, the beats you played at the show were dope. good luck
